New York Times bestselling author Donna Grant’s MIDNIGHT’S CAPTIVE tale continues!

Laura feels like her life has spun out of control and the one who is there to catch her is Charon.  Sinfully handsome and irresistible he offers her a safe haven in this storm of uncertainty and danger. But can she trust him with everything…?

Charon Bruce endures a relentless yearning to have Laura for his own, an ache he knows will never be fulfilled.  After the town he has protected for centuries is targeted by a ruthless Druid, he has no choice but to reveal his secret to Laura.
Ok wow!! I am loving this romance playing out between Aiden and Britt! I can't help but feel a small pang of weariness when I remember that I've known him since he was a baby.. But then I remember he's like 400 yrs old and I'm ok again :)
I am glad to see the Dark Kings integrated into the Dark Warriors novels... It's really a great change of pace! The warriors are battling Jason Wallace and these new creatures the Selmyr even though... The Selmyr haven't made much of an appearance as of yet Laura was taken by Jason and almost brainwashed... Aisley is quite the mystery however... It's like.... Almost like she doesn't want to be a drough. I am hoping that she gets free of her cousin soon and maybe she can change paths like Isla did..? Idk. I know that this story is coming along nicely and Donna Grant made this Novel a bit more in depth than the previous ones... Which I am liking!! the character development is deeper and the storylines are very much deeper! I am moving into Part II ASAP!!

I give this book 5 out of 5 shields!
